Dice 51

ABOUT Dice 51:

For Dice 51, it all started with a sketch. Dice 51 is from the high deserts of Albuquerque, New Mexico. He uses his skills in illustration, woodworking, and CNC machines to bring his imagined deities into the physical realm. This back and forth between analog and digital methods allows Dice 51 to create an original 3D canvas to stain, paint, and illustrate on live.

Dice’s style is heavily influenced by the psychedelic space odyssey, graffiti, manga art, traditional Japanese ink work, eastern religious art, and the deserts of the southwest. The content of his drawings is not predetermined and often starts with sketches and doodles. These doodles often depict masks and faces of unnamed gods. The characters are then named, given a backstory, and transferred to layered pieces of art.
